Guided Trips to the Sierra Nevada & Worldwide!
Umm...Which way do we go from here?

Navigation!

Have you ever wondered how on earth people travel off trails? How to use a compass? What all those lines on a topo map mean? If you have, this class is for you. We will go into depth how not to get lost in the woods, and how to find your way if you do. We’ll teach map and compass skills, whiteout and low visibility navigation as well as GPS navigation. This course is paired up with a small backpacking trip that you will design with the help of your classmates and your guide.
