You would be hard pressed to find a better location for learning the ins and outs of ice climbing. Often sunnier and warmer than Lee Vining we will often climb in June Lake when the weather is inclement. With shorter easier climbs June Lake is the ideal place to learn the ropes or get the rust off at the start of a new season.
