What is FASTPACKING?
Fastpacking, also called ultralight backpacking, is a remote, multiday journey on foot, in a light and fast style. Light weight means you can go farther, and with comfort. Experience the true freedom of the hills!
People don't just jettison their essentials and cast off into the mountains. Ultralight, unsoupported fastpacking trips take solid planning, plenty of skill and know-how, and some specialized equipment and resources. Our guides have it dialed and we show you how to make it all happen.
Supported fastpacking trips employ the use of porters, pack stock, camp support, even huts or lodges. These are the lightest style of fastpacking trips that enable us to travel amazing distances in a short amount of time, walking fast and free on the steeper hills, and trail running for long stretches of rolling mountain terrain. It takes a lot to make this happen, but we have it all figured out!
Experience the High Sierra like very few ever do, in a light and fast style. We hope you will join us for a Fastpacking adventure soon!
