Kids Summer Rock Climbing!
Join us this summer to get your kids climbing the rocks instead of your walls! For 5 weeks, our highly trained, AMGA (American Mountain Guides Association) guides will teach your kids about rock climbing and bouldering. We are happy to provide everything your child will need including harnesses, helmets, climbing shoes and chalk bags. We will visit several different areas to expose your children to different rock types and activities. We will provide snacks and drinks for each day.  In addition to a great outdoor learning experience the kids will get a shirt, certificate of completion and a pizza party.

The first session is spent familiarizing the kids with the equipment and safety procedures.  After everyone is up to speed, each child will get a chance to try climbing up and being lowered down.

Week 2

We pick where we left off from week one.  The first part of the day is spent climbing.  We will continue to work on the milestone program and after snack will have a group lesson.

Week 3

Bouldering:

On week three the kids get to lean about the sport of Bouldering.  With pads, chalk, slack lines and spotting there is plenty of fun for everyone.

Week 4

Week four sees us back at the crags ticking off milestone items.

As the summer comes to an end I reflect on some wonderful times. One of which was Jordyn's time with the Sierra Scramblers. The experience was an exceptional one. She loved all of it and frequently talks about rock climbing. Thank you for the supportive, compassionate and patient approach you provided. We look forward to climbing with you again and would like to be scholarship sponsors next year as well. Many, many thanks!
