Palisade Crest Tour 2009

Robert came out from the Mid-west with a background in the ever so civilized ski touring of Europe.  Light packs and huts.  Even though the big pack that now held our tent and food for five days was intimidating, Robert took it in stride and we ended up having a great trip.  With the storm that dropped 20cm of new snow midway through our trip we had some amazing skiing conditions.  From corn to powder was the theme of our outing.  In the mountains you often "get what you get" as far as conditions go but we did a great job of sniffing out the fun and safe ski runs.  Thanks for a great trip Robert!
